Even COBOL is still alive, companies who have invested so much on these platforms has this fear of risks migrating to newer languages (it's tough to convince, they only care about expenses, etc.) There are new COBOL variants that can support .NET.
How much more with this powerful language which all the posters here commented on are still using it till now?
