Pasensya na bay, ha. Morag unfair man gud nga ipasa sa uban ang question nga imong gi-address para nako.

    Mao ni ang proof, bay.

Anything that comes from the material world cannot pass beyond its limits. But logic transcends the limits of the material world. Therefore, it cannot originate from the material world. In other words, it should come from a source that is beyond the limits of the material world. This transcendent source is what the theists called GOD.

You also have to understand the psychology behind Atheism.
    Why do people become atheist.

I've known a lot of atheist personally.
And I came up with my own common factors on atheists.

    1. They hate their fathers.
    They question their father's judgment.
    They found them too controlling.
They are too strict and too religious.

    Oh, so it's automatic.

No need for examination. Just believe what you've been told as a child that there is a God. Don't even question it.

Sir, forgive me for sounding like a broken record. I fear that we're back to zero again. Your statement still doesn't prove anything how and why it is GOD and not another source. So basically, when you say "GOD", you're admitting that this "GOD" could be anything then, right? Because there is no 100% proof that the "mind beyond the limits of the material world" is GOD. There's just no proof for it.

I myself wanted to be an atheist.
I did not believe in religion although we grew up and raised as a christian.
Ive seen through all these religious leaders and how they pretend to know about God.
And yet they do not practice what they preach.
Ive been down when things doesn't seem to go my way.
and I started to question if there really is a God.

So Instead of reading the Bible,
    I watch discovery channel,
    national geographic,
    the knowledge channel
    and the history channel

but every time i watched them i realized there really is a God.
Even the leaves of the trees
that seems so randomly distributed in their branches
are really cleverly placed to maximize its exposure to the sun.

even the tiniest mosquito, carries in his snout a whole range of tools.
    from a thermometer,
to anesthetic injection with anti-coagulant chemicals,
    to a cutting saw,
and a suction tube all in one.

That can only be a product of a brilliant designer.

And when you really see the things around you.
You could only feel nothing but awe.
To the wonders of God's creation.

Hey, I don't know about you.
But my logic tells me there is a God.
My science tells me there is a God.
And judging from His creation, I'd say he is a loving God.
Because He provided us with everything we needed to live and survive.
    From food, water and air----
to the heat of the sun at day ----
to the light of the moon and stars at night.

No, it cannot be just any thing. It is THE MIND that exists beyond the limits of the material world(s).

The statement above is just like saying that there is no 100% proof that "the science of life and of living organisms" is called Biology.

You call it "mind beyond the limits of the material world". I call it GOD. You gave the description, I gave you the term.

What's wrong with that? Atheists don't even bother to ask if the statement whatever TRUTH is, the only way to recognize it is through LOGIC is true or NOT. They just believe.

    And as a teacher,
I know the difference between believing in a presence of higher being
and believing yourself as the highest being.

    Just visit a classroom,
    any regular classroom...
Especially at the start of classes.
You would know if that class has a teacher or not.

The class with a teacher, even if the teacher went out for a while.
The kids are reasonably well behaved. Few may stand and talk but still there is order.

But when the class has no teacher,
and the kids believe that there isn't going to be a teacher at least for that day.
Then they start to make noise. They stand, run around, do everything the want.
    Until order becomes chaos.

Same thing will happen to this world if we all believe there is no God.

Whats keeping me from stealing and robbing other people.
    sure i'll be in prison,
but at least i know how it felt to spend a million,
    even for a day.

    If i kill a person...
Sure i'll be in prison for killing a person,
but, i've already experienced how good it is to kill a person,
how powerful i feel when his life is in my mercy.
    that to me is priceless.
i'll be living in a cell where food is free
and i do not have to work for it for the rest of my life.

Believing there is no God could only lead to chaos.
Look how you people behave. You trash talk like you own this forum.
Do you think those Ampatuans believe there is a GOD?
Did Hitler believe there's a God?
    I don't think so.

Isn't that a form of this:
God of the gaps - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

By the way, it's a common tactic employed by theists. They mentally trap atheists by using this technique, and it's effective all the time. Thumbs up for that.

    Right.

But can you please tell that to the thousands if not millions of children around the world dying of hunger right this very minute? What about the others who are dying of a non-curable disease? God surely designed these things to happen.

How selfish of you to tell ME to see things around me. Reality check: there is no awe and wonder in this world. All I see are tornadoes, hurricanes, hunger, and WAR.

And why are you singling out EARTH? What about the other planets that "GOD DESIGNED"? Is life sustainable in those planets? They're either TOO HOT or TOO COLD to sustain life.

    Talk about WONDER and AWE.

No, it is not. The term 'gap' in the phrase God of the gaps refers to the GAP in understanding of some aspect of the material world.

But it has been proven so many times in this thread that logic is immaterial and does not come from the material world. So kun duna man galing nigamit og lit-ag (trap) diri, kana wala'y lain kundili kadtong namugos pagpatoo nga ang transcendent source of logic (nga gitawag og GOD sa mga theist), is nothing but the God of gaps.
