These are the best tasting cakes I've ever tasted. In order.

1. Death by Chocolate cake. Layered chocolate cake with fudge, ganache, or chocolate mousse between the layers.


1. Tiramisu. Popular Italian cake.Made of ladyfingers (or often savoiardi) dipped in coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of egg yolks and mascarpone, and flavored with liquor and cocoa


2. Tres Leches. Sponge cake or butter cake soaked in three kinds of milk: evaporated milk, condensed milk, and heavy cream.


3. Baked Alaska. Ice cream on sponge cake covered with meringue casing and browned quickly in a hot oven.
