Si Rizal giud dapat ang atong national hero. Much of his story is still untold to many and unless you study his life and his ideas more, you will not know what he really did for our country.

Rizal is an illustrados, member of the average middle class family- not really super rich but because his parents were hardworking they were able to send him to good schools.
His idea for Philippine independence was a long and well-formulated plan..
the reason why wala siya mu kuha ug sundang human nag dagan2x ngadto para pa layason ang mga spaniards is because he knew that the philippines was not yet ready for independence.

We must admin 300+ years under spanish rule from the period of being pagans and not-so "civilized" to the kind of economic and social progress they've bought upon us. We weren't treated with 100% disrespect.. shempre, their main goal to come to the philippines aside from acquiring land during the conquestador era, was to spread christianity and we owe our religion to them..

Rizal was thinking that if Filipinos are educated enough, we will be able to lead this country on our own and still have a good relations with the spaniards (maybe this made him too idealistic?)

mas gamaig nabuhat si bonifacio compara ni rizal..... And the thing about Rizal is datu siya.. pero gusto gihapon siyag freedom.... kung datu siguro nas bonifacio wata kibaw unsa iyang buhaton.... basin di na siya magpaka hero....
