kadaghanan sa mga babae double standards, gusto sila "equal" at the same time gusto pud sila i treat as females (weak or someone who needs protection).

In my opinion its NOT ok to hit anybody without justified reason, may it be male or female.
So if there was a justified reason, then its ok? The question here is what exactly are the justifying circumstances for hitting a woman?

Well, I think that double standards thing is true, but often misinterpreted.

See, man and woman can never be called equal. They're just too different to be called equal. Women can never be as physically strong as men, no matter how much she works out. Gender equality does not aim to get rid of those kinds of differences. What's being talked about there are rights. The right to equal pay for work, the right to pursue a masculine-ish career, the right to have the same quality of life that men do, and even the right not to be discriminated (Islam women).

People saying "you wanna be treated like men, then you shall be treated like men," are kind of generalizing it too much that they're missing the point. Women don't want to be like men, they just think they deserve the same rights that men have, free from discrimination. Very often it is practiced here that when women demand for such rights, men instantly treat them like men, challenge them to a feat, then spit in their faces when they fail.

Most women don't really want to be as strong, brave, or as powerful as men (although they try). They simply just don't want to be treated as weak, meek, or helpless.

    If you get my point.

Kay bisan unsaon pa ninyo pagahi-gahi gud mga bayhana mo, kamo pa man gud gihapon ang mobuntis. So essence gikan ra sad ko ninyo. hehehe

You seemed pretty disturbed with what you saw....
Bullets fly faster than fists. Attempting to hit her in this situation would've been fatal. But in this case, human rights are about to be violated, so I guess self defense is understandable. Better practice those lightning-fast fists.

you see... ang mga "rights" sa mga lalaki doesnt come for free, they earned it through hardships, battles, struggle, and mindf*cking other male species. if a woman does prevail in a male dominated society/career... its because she earned it for herself. so just keep on fighting for your rights - the keyword here is "fight"...

but by default woman will be discriminated, i think bisan asa man ingon ana man since the age of the bible.

    back to topic:
if a girl hits a person or agitate a person to hit her then she deserves to be hit. all of us needs to learn that all our actions will have consequences, regardless of gender... now that is being treated as equal.

Uh, wait. What male rights are we talking about? If I remember correctly, rights are supposed to be inherent. If you are talking about liberty rights, I believe they're supposed to be inherent too, but are regulated by claim rights.

You don't have to fight for something that's supposed to be inherent. You "fight for your rights" only when they are violated.

By default, yes, women have always been discriminated since time immemorial. But that is no excuse for us not to do correct it. History may be history, but it doesn't mean that what was will always be right. Kind of like saying don't let our future be destroyed by our past.

    Back to topic:
Hitting is physical harm. Rape is also another form of physical harm. If a girl who went out wearing her usual cute blouse and skirt on a lonely street agitated a horny man to sexually assault her, she should accept the consequences for agitating the man. Is that being treated equal?

Aw, maniacs will always be sexually-agressive. That's a CRIME sis and I think it's a

different story if you compare it to equality among men and women.

Bro, try not to confuse mania with atypical sexual behavior. Mania is only a part of Bipolar Disorder, and I know for sure that sexual aggressiveness will always be a ground for sexual assault if directed at a person not giving consent.

Crimes are defined as the breach of laws. Human rights are protected by laws. I'd like to believe that my human rights are protected by human laws. Crime is done upon me if those rights are violated. I don't see how this can't be related in gender-related issues like rape. Most especially rape.

Sis, well you are correct but bottomline is that men will always be MEN. Majority of men will always think

that they are more dominant than women. They will always think that women are far more weaker. Let's

just be realistic, the equality you're asking for applies only to some, not all. Good eve..gotta sleep XD
