i do not necessarily hate them, it is just that i see a huge waste of time and the lack of creative content kind dulls the basic intelligence of filipinos..

Mostly, anything on television (including foreign reality TV crap) is insulting, indigestion-inducing (to borrow your neologism), or just plain unwatchable. My 2 Cents.

I've given up on anything on the boob tube. I do get entertained sometimes; Showtime makes me smile occasionally, but I never watch from start to finish. Even their news shows are just plain amateur; clearly made for people with short attention spans (why on God's name would I care about some random TV/movie couple breaking up??). But then again, they have to cater to the lowest common denominator, since that's what advertisers depend on. So you see both of the big networks trying to imitate each other to no end, with absolutely no shred of originality whatsoever, telenovelas, soap opera reboots, and "unconventional" love stories. Who are they fooling? It's the same turd, just polished to a different shine.

... I just dont get it why people watch the same thing over and over again but with different titles... this is the main reason why my father forbids us to watch local tv shows. you just cant learn from them. I dont hate them, i just dont find them interesting...
