Illogical conclusion. Even if Germany wasn't cut in half after the war, and even if their scientists weren't absorbed by the Americans or Russians, there is no reason to believe that they would rise to become a superpower--the bottom line is ECONOMICS. The main reason why Germany waged war in the first place was to get more territories so that it could expand its economy and thus become a world power (access to North Africa and middle east for petroleum, Russia for all its natural resources, etc). How do you suppose they can do that after a war in which they were defeated militarily and economically? The more proper conclusion would be that if they didn't LOSE THE WAR, perhaps they could have been a world power. But they did lose the war. So your logic fails at that point alone.

True. Germany during WW2 era was very advance in technology. That is why i am fascinated with Nazi Militaria, but not Nazi Ideals and Ways. I am fortunate enough to have taken pictures of original captured Messerschmitt Me 262 and Messerschmitt Me 163 at the Australian War Memorial Museum.

no need to mention..they OBVIOUSLY lost the war.... no brainer
they lost the war...got divided...one side to the allies the other to the reds
and they were never concentrated as one Germany since then only after the fall of the wall
And you fail to assess dur Fuhrer's manner of thinking things out...he was so engulfed with megalomania
he wanted to have every continent he could set his dark claws on----Hitler's Africa, Europe...Russia
he was simply spreading himself thin pushing at forward blinded with power...feeling too powerful he didn't consider economic factors, even failed factor in natural elements of the deadly Russion tundra that claimed thousands of his army in his push towards Russia and yah economy might or one of his agendas to his world domination. But he was more obssessed with his fascist visions----eradicating religion, christianity etc. and placing himself as the idea of god...he even had his trusted associates gather all religious documents, scriptures and archives---the Bible, Torah & the Quran in anticipation of his global victory and planning to put up his own "religious" ideas, scriptures or Bible only with him as supreme being or God.

Even after the Nazi's surrender to the allies one German scientist found its way to the side of the Americans, developed NASA & Apollo 11's Saturn V rocket engine that proved very vital writing the US's success and very important milestone during the era of Space Race, putting the first man on the moon that stone-carved the United States of America that name in history, bolstering the US spirit and it's image as a nation in the globe
