there is really a big difference to it. being that iloilo was named queen's city denoting that the city of iloilo at that time was owned by a queen of spain. owned here meaning giila niya ang siyudad tungod sa ka loyal ani sa iyaha.

sa ato pa, ang cebu is a queen city to which the term queen here is used in terms of size as a whole. including na tingai ang economic ug population. while ang sa iloilo is a queen's city which means lagi na ginaangkon sa reyna. and particularly at this case, giangkon na siyudad niya ang iloilo kai gimahal siya sa mga karaang tawo diri

while ang term na queen city of the south is literally a nickname to showcase cebu as a booming economic alternative to manila.

mao ra gud na. so what's the buzz diay? ngano awayan pa man na nato? the best solution there is sabton nalang na sa mga tawo ug tarong di kai lalisan pa dyud ang term kai kesyo naa sa selyo sa iloilo or tungod kai mas lambo ang cebu karon.

puhlease, we don't need this now. dako kaayo ato problema against sa mga insik. china is bullying us. mas may pa tingalig magkahiusa tang tanan.

Mayor Tom dropped the moniker "Queen City of the South" coz wala naman itong significance na magagawa sa Cebu. No use... pero still the Manila media still insist naming Cebu as such... So? wala na kaming magagawa jan. Sila ang namimilit, hindi kaming mga Cebuanos...
So clarification lang... We did not "GRAB" it coz in the first place we didn't accept it not even recognized it here in our city. Pwede nyong kunin uli anytime, nandoon sa lupa coz our city already dropped it...
