    try daw sa travel club kay i have a friend nga girepair iyang bag (bought from me) for free.. accordingly they honor northface warranty basta original.. no need for receipt.. it was also confirmed by one of the travel pack employee in another branch...

    or basi puedi sa TNF shop?

    mao man gyud ni usually na himo tradition sa mga sellers diri sa atoa
    kusug mamaligya...putting more effort ma convince ang customer
    then when it comes to aftermarket service mag lihay2x na
    ang importante naka halin sila and dili na mang-gilabot after they got your money
    though, not all pud but, sad to say, most!

    I had a similar experience recently with my Samsonite Stratolite luggage bag. I bought the bag at SM Cagayan de Oro in 2009 and carries a 3-year warranty. Ang nahitabo gi gamit ni ermats bakasyon Europe last March ug sa dihang naguba ang isa sa mga ligid (wheel) niya. When my mom arrived in manila iya gibilin sa ako for warranty claim. Since i was working in clark pampanga, gidala ko nalang ang bag padulong pampanga thinking that Travel Club in SM Clark will do the repairs for me. Lo and behold, there was one information this guys don't tell the customers whenever they sell their goods: "Pag maguba imo bag unya imo ipa warranty repair, ang actual repair is in Manila only." so in my case, maghulat pa ko kanus-a delivery ila stocks aron maapil padala ako bag padulong sa ila main office sa Trinoma. Based on their estimate, it will take around 2 months... Another thing, they attempted to pass the responsibility to Samsonite store since they don't carry the brand anymore! I went to Samsonite store in Marquee Mall Pampanga and they gave me almost the same timeframe or i'll bring the bag myself to Greenbelt Makati..

    I can't wait for two months coz my mom is scheduled to leave for the states soon. To settle the record straight, i went to Travel Club Trinoma. Naa diay didto ila main branch and main showroom. All of the warranty claims and repair orders from the provinces will be received by Travel Club Trinoma, and the actual repair works in a unspecified location in Manila.. Medyo irritated na ko coz again they tried to make "balibad" sa ako with the same alibi that they don't sell Samsonites anymore.. I told the lady sales manager: "Part of your sales pitch whenever you guys convince us customers is the guaranteed warranty support. I don't care if you don't carry the brand anymore! I bought the bag in 2009 and still within warranty so you have to honor it! Part of the amount or price that i paid for the bag is the warranty! Both of us are in customer service so you better do something with my problem or else...." She received the bag and in less than 5 days they texted me that repair is done. Problem solved..

    Update guys:

    I went to Northface SM yesterday and they said they will replace the bag with the same model. They said the item is still on stock in one of their branches. Pero ila pa iconfirm. At least nakabuhi na sila ug istorya na ila ireplace. Still waiting for their phone call.

    btw kung sa manila nako gipalit ang bag pwede ra nako i.adto sa sm cebu?

    As far as I know, lifetime ila warranty.. I am not sure if puede ba diri sa cebu if you bought the bag elsewhere.. try lang adto sa sm..

    I have a strong feeling nga the sales staff or the store managers knows the merits as stated sa mga tags
    or manuals sa products ilang gibaligya
    ...ONLY if pwede maka lihay or avoid (service) mu avoid gyud
    dpende ra na sa madala or mu give-up or if they sense that you know what your saying in your claims
    then para nila cornered na sila ang wala na choice (though it's their obligations) but to render those rights and privileges

    Any update on your case bro? Nipalit ko ug Slingshot na bag pag November of 2010. Napaksit na ug sugod ang waterproofing niya, don't know why. Hoping the warranty covers it.
