"Real" Santa Claus? You mean to say Santa Claus is real, or that Santa Claus is a figure BASED on a REAL person named St. Nicholas? Please don't confuse yourself.
I think I know where you're going with your point. The verse means We cant see God because we would get destroyed.
Children would never believe in electricity because they can't see it nor can understand it.
CHildren would never believe and appreciate stock trading because they don't understand it.
We are not ten year old as well that the thing that makes us believe are all Eye candy.
Are you applying the same logic with atheist? Are you saying that atheist would never believe in God because they don't/can't understand God? If so, what makes a believer think he/she knows more about God than the average person? Does he/she know what/how God thinks? How much effort does it really need to understand the "complexities" of a supernatural?
We would then be destroyed? Did you just make that up?This means we can't see God literally because we would then be destroyed(This may be that we humans are not pure or holy enough, or it could be of tremendous power that the at mere sight we get destroyed a logical characteristic of a Being that created the whole universe)
Unfortunately there is a counterfeit to all these and the Bible exposes the base principles of the counterfeit.
Well, you can't really compare a simple problem like creating a computer to creating a whole universe. If you start the argument of Intelligent Design, you can't just leave it behind on a dead end with infinite possibilities. You have to start questioning the origin of the creator, otherwise you're creating a bigger problem to the problem. Intelligent Design is also a way to put a gap in scientific knowledge. Why automatically insert God to questions science cannot answer?
So just because you cannot explain something, you automatically assume God must have did it? This is a good example of a close-mind. No wonder faith is known to halt the progress of human inquiry.
Faith is blind. Faith is defined as believing in something you cannot see. A 6-year old child believe in fairy tale because she believes it's real. That is FAITH per se.Old school ni na tinudluan. Hard selling ni kun baga. Some people sell religion and faith, some people simply lead by example and deeds.
She didn't say it. She copied and pasted it and made it look like her own.Very well said.
Why start this thread? Because I can and I want to.As for the TS bah...Do you Believe in God or an external force for that matter? If you don't, then why start this thread? You may have many purposes say, make more posts, enjoy stirring the water, find confirmation. Ang ako lang bah, lalis2x mo diri. Pero think about this, we have 5 senses...We are limited by these five senses. Have you ever thought that there might be beings that have more than 5 senses. Have you ever thought what if dili Oxygen and hyrdrogen ato main components? Daghan kaayo ta ug beliefs kay lahi2x man ta ug mga huna2x na mga tawo and that is how we were designed. Point is, if you are looking for answers, you cannot find them here. Even what I post here is gibberish to people who read this. Even those who agree with me don't even fully understand the full thought of my post. I don't even fully understand myself. Because we are bound not to. I just enjoy my life. What is beyond I leave to God.
Yes, we have 5 sense and we are limited by those senses, therefore, it entails we DO NOT know everything about the universe, and I am one to admit our limits. That does not mean, however, that we cannot start a meaningful discussion about the unanswerable.
