bai, stop playing the "i am in the gray area" crap. There's only black and white in an argument. If you are not wrong you are right. If you are not smart you are stupid.

So in this case smart people go to church. That is one side. The other side, do no go to church. if the smart people go to church then obviously the stupid ones don't. That is and was always what you were trying to say. Dili na assumption. You can't be in the middle of your argument. Either you pick one side or the other.

Anyone can go to Church. The poor, the rich.. The dumb, the wise. The sick, the healthy. The bad, the good. Low self esteemed, or the high self esteemed.
