Naka take ko ug SOLAS way back 2006, sa UV. Murag 3500 man siguro to akong bayad, limot nako.

1 week to ang training. Monday to friday kay lecture, then saturday kay practical training sa lapulapu.

Actually, if pag take lang nimo ug SOLAS, wala man requirement. Pero if mo apply naka ug Seaman's Book sa MARINA, mao na ang naay requirements.

Kalimot nako unsa to, basta kinahanglan naa kay authenticated copy Birth Certificate from NSO, not sure if pwede raba kanang from Local Civil Registrar.

5 years ang effectivity sa Seaman's Book. Na expire nani just this year. Wala jud nako nagamit, pang identification ra... ehehehe!

Just to add; The proper name now is Basic Safety Training (BST). It has Four Modules aside from the PSSR- Personal Safety and Social Responsibility.
1. Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting
2. Elementary First-Aid
3. Personal Survival Techniques.
