+1 earlz planning to buy gskill too
Ako +10 na siguro ko ni earlz daghan na kaayo siya na advise nako.
Question for boss Earlz once again on the G.skill memory list ang kani na module G.Skill SNIPER F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR (4Gx2) mao ra ni na memory ako nakit-an ni support sa ako mobo (MSI 890FXA-GD70) pero ang naka faet kay wala man available even sa tipid PC. So I was wondering if this module G.Skill SNIPER F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR2 (4Gx2) can support my motherboard since the list of supported mobos for this module are all intel platforms? or do we need to tweak something lang para mo work? I'm still researching regarding this pud.
btw ang difference sa 2 modules ako gi mention above is 8GBSR vs 8GBSR2.
IIRC, the difference between those modules is the voltage.. SR2 is the 1.25v modules. They should be compatible if not a slight voltage bump might be required.. Something like 1.30~1.35v, Let me double check on my sources and I'll get back to you on this for verification.
EDIT:
Confirmed, it should work even at 1.25v

@Boss Earlz: then this 8GBSR2 will just work fine on my Mobo?
If yes, then I should proceed and order it.
