Mga brader maayong hapon!...Im a computer instructor of one of the public schools here in cebu city. Usa ang among school nga napili sa PLDT for the extension of their infoteach outreach program and they are giving scholarship grant to one of the teachers in this school. I was chosen by our principal to take this scholarship grant. At first I declined kay I don't have any idea about programming languages kay mao na ang requirement sa Program but tungod lagi kay free ra nya gusto pud ko makat.on sa programming so i grabed the opportunity. The Program by the way is DIPLOMA IN COMPUTER SCIENCE. I graduated with a degree of BSED Major in Industrial Technology which is layo ra jud kaayo sa computer related nga courses. Kung mangutana mo y nagteach ko ug computer when infact wla mo match sa akong major nga g.graduatan, this is because nameet ra man nako ang description sa curriculum sa akong subject.

Mao ra ni akong background sa computer.
1. Graduate of Website designing using HTML (short course) Interface
2. Natrain for 3 months as Computer Technician (DMDP)
NC 2 sa TESDA as COMp TECHnician
3. Natrain sa Designing using Adobe Photoshop,Desktop pub.
4. Natrain sa CAD using SOLIDWORKS hgiher version sa San Carlos TC.
5. and other basic trainings related to computer.

Next week we will be having our Orientation. The reason why I created this thread is because I'd like to know some tips in this program (DCS). unsa inyo ikaadvise para molampos ko ani nga Program? Unsay una ug dapat nako kat.onon? In terms of foundation sa programming language, unsa nga language? In terms of references what books sa comp sci ang dapat ninyo irecommend? I know daghan mga programmers nga nagstandby2x diri dont wori mga bros dili ko mocompete ninyo kung makat.on nako ani anyway regular naman pud ko sa DEPED. Ang ako lang is naa ko makat.onan nga akong ishare pud sa mga students and to my colleagues. Thank you very much! God bless you all!

kung mu enroll ka sa Diploma in Cmputer Science sa UPOU, di mna kailangan daghan ug programming languages kat.onon, the course is more on Theory.. magamit ra na imo programming skills kung naay projects2x... as long as maau ka sa math, there's nothing to worry...

learn basic programing... like syntax, logic operators... enjoy na makabuang na maka nose bleed gud pero... kasagaran gamiton guro either C, C++, Java..... good luck bro..

Thanks bro..actually, naregister nako bro and next week na magstart among orientation online. Mao jud akong problema ani kay la jud koy hanaw anang programming languages bisan usa ka language sa programming. Karon nagcege ko ug study sa mga tutorials sa C. Hope this can help. thnks again!

Yes bro nagduko nakog view aning mga tutorials sa programming i know dli pa jud ni enough kay lahi ra bya jud tong hands.on kay naa jud kay essential understanding ato nga mahibaw.an. Bahala nanig makanosebleed manrapo lang nya ko bro.hehe. Salamat kaayo..
