What to do about a daughter who has been doing NOTHING since graduating from college?

my brother is also like this. the bad thing he never graduated a college course not even one. maayo ra mosugod di humanon. I don't think cutting off the internet is a solution. Because we did that and still the same no efforts to go to school or even find a job and he's 24 already. Amo nalang pasagdaan na ingon ana siya. wa man mi mahimo sad gibuhat na namo tanan. kay gubot kaayo sauna pagpugos lang na mosulod siya sa iya mga klase. we've accepted the fact that he is like that.

i think your d sick person coz u dont want to change nways we havent heard bout ur daughter wy she act dat way, naa jud kay gbuhat sa iya or sa iyang mga love ones n dats d reason wy ga.rebelde sya ron. i dont know wy u cant show to her dat u care. u wont even hire a psychologist for ur daughter to change, maybe ur scared shel say somthing dat ul rather hang urself..

yesterday, there were workers doing repairs on the street in front of our house. my daughter and me were watching, and she asked, ngano butangan ug linya ang konkreto.

i, not being a civil engineer, explained that those are to pre empt cracks in concrete. out of the blue, i asked her, ganahan ka mag engineer?

she retorted, paeskuylahon ko nimo?

waahh... wish i cud afford it. ganahan tingali ni sya mubalik sa skol.

yes i accept i am sick, but you are wrong in speculating that i do not want to change. of course im willing to do whatever is necessary.

why she is acting this way? i do not really know.

i have been away working abroad for a long period while she was growing up. she used to be papa's girl during infancy till i left. for almost twenty years i was away..coming home only during pasko and new year.

sir maybe nangloud na sya nimo kay ni work ka abroad? or maybe naa kay sala sa pamilya ninyo nga wala niya kalimti? (maybe nangabit ka or imo gipasakitan iyang mama)

maybe nakadungog ni syag stismis about nimo (bati) while didto kas abroad nya wala na proven kong tinoud ba or dili and tsismis while sya nagdumot nimo?

if none of the above are true, possibly naa syay psychological issue..have her checked by a psychiatrist or psychologist, kay bacn naa gyud sya mental/emotional illness, bacn madugayan sir (simbako lng) maka huna-huna na syag hikog kay loner bya sya wala syay ka storya..


BTW, yaw sya pasagdi mag in-ana sir, kay kanang sleep, eat and computer sir dako kaau nag apekto sa lawas, bacn ma high-blood na bata pa kaau or worst heart illness..
