Best School for Medical Technology Students: Velez or Cebu Doc?

wala may medicine ang velez! CIM cguro!

CDU maau jud ni for medical courses kay mao ragud ni ang g grant og UNIVERSITY status nya mostly medical courses.

VELEZ/CDU for BMLS!

But it all comes down to the performance of the student man ghapon kay bisan Sto. Tomas pako nya yabagon ka nga student, wa ghapon!

mas tough ang training sa Velez but I've heard mas mahal compared to cdu

Velez for med tech theory. but i heard they have a teacher na maayo gpirate daw sa SWU. if skills- SWU. havent heard much about CDU. nice lng ila building pero layo.

Education wise Velez is the best option, while facility wise CDU has more recent facilities. But according to my sister who is now a second year at velez, she says that the tuition of medtechs there get cheaper each year. not certain though.

I agree with lorong31.... if in terms of facilities CDU dominates than VELEz.. sosyal baya sila.. haha

im a velez grad sa medtech way back 2004... mao ni ako m.share nnyo dd2

1. walay entrance exam (bale mdawat lng ni cla wlay paki kng honor student ka or bulakbol gang... hehehe in the long run 1-2 sections ra bitaw mo na m.grad pd ani na skwelahan with less than a hundred na mk.pasar)

2. mao rni skwelahan na duol ka sa nature kay dghan kaau ug mga dagko na kahoy (hasta lamok dagko pd hahahaha)

3. you got only 2 chances na makakita sa dean sa College of Medical Technology (Dr. Ibarra Panopio) 1st, during sa orientation sa mga 1st years and 2nd sa inyong internship na (which is a chance of a lifetime)

4. the mentors are very fond of giving moving exams and handing out blank test papers with tables on it for you to fill up with answers, not to mention the modified true or false made up of two phrases na naay cause and effect, modified multiple choice na m.abot sa E usahay F (ksagaran kay A, B, C and D rmn) ug ang ever popular, essay hahahahaha (bale dli lng ni purely understanding na type of test, hsta memorization apil)

5. lingaw kaau ky sa 2nd year pa lng, shocking na kaau ang mga mentors esp kng sa anatomy and physiology na subjects ky puro doctors sa CIM (and take note ang gamiton na libro ninyo ani kay kang Guyton and Hall wherein ang mga letra parehas sa Bibliya)

6. they don't teach test taking strategies but they will give you a crash course on how to answer the exams wisely (mao cguro ni reason na payter kaau kng mk.grad ka dd2 na skwelahan)

7. ksgaran ang mga reviewers gkan sa Manila kng m.conduct na cla ug review ngnhi sa cbu den m.ask kng knsa ang tga velez, usually nila iingon kay naa na +15 points sa board exam ( wla ko ksabot ani at first pero mk.ana ko tinuod mn pd kay dli pd bya lalim ang training namo thru theories)

8. though downside namo ang pg.extract ug blood pero wla na namo g.himo as negative. mas m.strive hnuon mi ug kat.on kay wla bya mi ksulay ana pg.skwela pa namo ( ang skills mkat.unan ra inig trabaho pero ang theories sa eskwelahan rjd na xa)

9. compared sa cdu in terms of tuition, mas barato mi dd2 :P hahahahaha (internship nko way back 2004 was 24k den nbalik ko gniha sa velez ky mgkuha sa ako TOR, ako g.check pila ang tuition sa internship kay naa sa 27k..... bale 3k ra ang inflation in 7 years)

10. mk.grado ka ug 3.0 dd2 swerte na kaau ka, 2.9- 2.6 owning, 2.5-2.0 dominating, 1.9 up GODLIKE ( dli mn gd lalim ang mga exam gd grabe)

11. famous quotation from the dean: mas bale pa na mp.graduate ko ug 1 na estudyante na maau kaau kysa 10 kbuok na ang 9 butyok hehehehe

@xTianDan: i tend to disagree na ghtagan ug title na "university" ang cdu kay maau cla... it just so happen na halos complete ang ilahang medical courses mao ghtagan na cla ana na title... prehas rna sa UC, UV ug uban pa na mga universities... bale mas dghan na course ilaha g.offer ang g.basehan ana sa CHED (wla ko grudge sa mga tga cdu ha... bsin lainon pd ninyo ug sabot)

pero last medtech board exam nag top1 ang medtech grad sa swu.

depende ra jud na sa studyante....
