Dumaguete, what's there and how to get there?

I am not if jo's by the sea is just P10... Multicabs to sibulan just stop near the church.

there are alternating multicabs which go up to Brgy. Ajong where Jo's By The Sea is located.

mga pila kaha ang habal2x from highway/crossing pasulod sa lake balinsasayao? kinsay naa idea ani diria? since 2 ra siguro mi or ako ra ang mobyahe so mas maau if habal2x nalang siguro..

unsa pinakabarato na pension house na nindot pd sa dumaguete mapa lodge o inn o pension house man lang o dorm..like kanang 200 or something na good for 2 nah..ug nsa lain i ka recommend na the best sa dumaguete na kan.an kana pang masa lang..hehehe

can someone share how to go DIY-style to Twin Lakes? where/what to ride along with the estimated fares.

please also help check and comment on the itinerary i prepared for my trip this weekend:

Day1
8:20am - arrival at airport / check in at hotel
9am - city tour (tourism office, silliman university, cathedral, belfry, sidlakang negros showroom)
1pm - go to twin lakes (if feasible)

Day2
5am - ride bus bound for Malatapay
6am - boat ride to Apo island
-whole day Apo Island-
3pm - boat ride back to Malatapay

Day3
6am - ride bus bound for Manjuyod
10am - bus back to Dumaguete
12nn - check out / pasalubong buying -- anong mga pasalubong ang specialty ng Dumaguete?
2:30pm - head to airport
4:25pm - departure from Dumaguete

u can go there by tracking or by sea... and its famous for their tempura...

Are you going to the sandbar? If yes then day 3 is tight especially that you will be using the public transportation. Sayang if you will only stay on the sandbar for 2hrs.

Suggest that you do your pasalubong on Day 2 after APO island and request your hotel for a late check-out on day 3 at 2:30pm and head straight to the airport.

yup, we're planning to go to the sandbar only. hindi kaya ng budget at time pag nag dolphin watching pa e. tama ba itong info na nakuha ko on how to get there?:

1. ride Ceres bus bound for Manjuyod. sabihin sa konduktor na ibaba sa sakayan papuntang fishing village (50 daw bus fare)
2. trike going to fishing village (magkano pamasahe?)
3. sa fishing village, maghanap ng boat na pwedeng ma-hire. 15mins away lang yun sandbar.

yan yun mga nabasa ko sa mga nag DIY papunta dun e.

bukas na ang punta ko sa dumaguete. =)
