The church has always run itself by the exact guidelines and biblical words established by what 'God wants everybody to believe and follow' thanks to prophets. In our reality today, the existence of God is asserted as true, even though there is no hard - in your face - evidence to prove any of it (heck, if God was THAT important I'm pretty sure he would've had his shit sorted out for us billions of years ago, so much for being a supreme being).

So as long the church stays around to shove assertions down peoples throats in the name of God, again, even if his existence was finally proven, it wouldn't nullify anything. The damage throughout history has been done and it will never be reversed. It would only prove that God is a sadistic bastard, but at least I'd feel satisfied that my insults towards this divine being could be heard for the shitty work he has done (if any). But as long as the vatican rakes in money from the sheep all around the world, and God gets the profit, then why should he give a shit? Let just say, money is the gun, and God has always been the bullet. Take a look at the Spanish who've raped the lands they've upon every land they've set foot (yes, including yours). You're gonna tell me God loves us?


Yeah. Go put another penny in the basket at church next time to show appreciation for something that will never heal those legless people sitting outside that establishment worth the amount thousands of idiots have skipped feeding their families for just to renovate the cracks in these worthless buildings. Sickening.
