Jesus told the high priest that he is the Messiah and Son of God
M'r:14:61: But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?
M'r:14:62: And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

kanang Messiah og Son of God wa na nagpasabot nga God na siya oi. intawn ka bata gyud og reasoning. yango ra kong onsay isulti sa pastor. Si Adam was called Son of God, the angels too. Messiah means Christ not God. 
The Jews understood that this meant Jesus was equating himself with God: "he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God"
