Also the VID range as 1.5200v is misunderstood by a lot of people as the max safe voltage... just wanted to throw this in as VID is not Vcore

rams marked "Made for Sandy Bridge Platform" are made from high density memory ICs. NOT all chipsets will support high density mem ic's especially those rated as 1600mhz(& above) LVs(1.5v). they MAY not run stable when you use in AMD platforms w/out upping the vDIMM.
some rams made specifically for AMD have these BEMP(Black Edition Memory Profile)...those for SBridge has XMP...they are not cross-platform profiles.
qtn.: why are you changing rams? overclocking?
