if you're a visual learner go for w3schools.com. if you're audio-visual I would recommend php tutorials by thenewboston. of course don't forget to visit php.net for reference.

the first step would be to setup a server on your local machine. use XAMPP

I wouldn't recommend w3schools. They are full of misleading information that could, in turn, lead to bad programming practices. Use this site as a reference. Lots of _better_ resources can be found there.

XAMPP may be a bit too advanced to setup for the beginner. Try WAMP first and play around with it. Once you get the hang of it, go with XAMPP. But, if you feel you're up for it. By all means, go with XAMPP. It'll be a fun learning experience.

Ako kay nag study ko php sad..
Pero mas nindot na mag study pud ka HTML bfore ka mag php...
Ako kay ni gamit ko og WAMP bai... Didto ko nag practice og html dayon karon kay hapit nako mahuman sa php, sunod kay perl napud.. gamit og WAMP o unsa bana ang uban unsa imo ganahan...

Kinahanglan naa ka net bai kai para daghan ka og mabasa.......

ako sad mag study ug php... nag call center man lagi mao wla na gamit ako computer engineering. kabasa ko inet na better if familiar ka html first before ka study php... i didn't know na ma master nimo sila self study lang. kugi and hilig sa buhat lang jud siguro.
