how to apply for a sub-meter in MECO

guyz, patabang unta ko kinsa kabalo kung unsa steps and requirements pag-apply ug sub-meter sa MECO? then pila sad magasto? please... thanks

di man tingali na kinahanglan ug application ang sub-meter. optional naman na sa owner sa main meter. ikaw ra tagiya sa main sis?

As far as I know, no permit is required for a sub-meter sa VECO since the electrical wires and any gadgets attached AFTER the main VECO meter is considered as the property of the owner of the building/house.

If you are the owner of the building and the main meter that was registered from the VECO then you just buy new meter from any electrical store and have an electrician install it for you to segregate the consumption of a certain room/unit/appliance that you want...but if you are only a renter of an establishment that has several occupants and wanted to know your own electric consumption, then you may request from the owner of the building that you will install a sub meter.
