    I am interested too..

However, for people who may not be that active in the local music scene, an introduction of the people behind this workshop is appropriate.Much appreciated if you can post here the ff.:

    1. Mode of payment to guarantee slot(s).
    2. Guarantee that services will be rendered after payments are made.
    3. Introduction of the organizer(s).

This is not to undermine the integrity of the organizer but since I believe this is not a registered business entity, it will help to get to know more about this.

    Cheers//

Thank you for raising your concerns bro.

    1. Mode of Payment

    - Cash. However, when we were planning this workshop, we have in mind the young guitarists who might be interested to join this event. Since its still summer and we are taking into consideration that it is not that easy to get a bigger allowance while school is out, we have decided to accept reservations while the interested parties are still saving up for the registration fee. When they are ready to pay for the registration fee, we will then agree for a meet-up. We also give receipts when we receive the payment.

TAKE NOTE: For those who have made their reservations, the last day of payment will be on June 1, Wednesday.

    2. Guarantee

    - This is where you just have to trust us. Take our word for it. We just want to help aspiring guitarists out there. The P450 registration fee comes with a free snack and handouts of the lessons Barry will give. Also, part of the fee is for the payment of the venue which we already reserved at Sacred Heart Center.

    3. Introduction

    - I am once active in the music industry but because I got caught up with my work, I no longer have time to continue this passion. I was also once the provincial music ministry head of Youth for Christ. You can visit my facebook page, add me if you want. Jake Bere | Facebook. Currently I am into events marketing.

Barry Visoc is a great guitarist, you can ask around even here in istorya and many can guarantee you on his expertise.

We both want to erase the mentality of some musicians here in Cebu, that instead of helping one another by guiding each other, we tend to do the opposite. Musicians nowadays tend to criticize their fellow musicians rather than share their knowledge.

This is our way of educating the young musicians as well who prefer to use Guitar Pro and other aided technology to get tabs and chords of a chosen song.

    Thank you, Ryden!!

I'm sure this will enlighten some people who may have some reservation on this.
I, myself is an old school rocker when the local music industry here was at their peak.

I cannot afford to buy an electric guitar then so we just jammed mostly Folk/Classic rocks with our acoustics at home. But I do jammed (Vocals) with local bands then at old Gaw Central Square. My signature songs were Alice Cooper with El Chicano.

Without an electric guitar then, I was not able to pursue and got the opportunity to enhance my guitar skills...until I totally abandon it to make a living after school...and after 25 or so years, here I am again trying to pursue my original passion as a hobby. Matter of fact, I recently just got in touch with an old buddy and hanged out with him in his new small acoustic bar (he's the songwriter of an old school "bisrock" band who wrote/popularized the original "Agta")

Hope to see you all there....and yes, I heard a lot of good things about Barry Visoc from some people in the local music scene.

Looking forward to support your vision for the younger generation...

    //cheers.
