bro iceman: unsa man diha sa canada bro, dali ra makakita og work? daghan available jobs?
Hi Eves, daghan man jud trabaho ngari, basta di ra ka mu pili ug work, that means blue collar jobs, ang Tim hortons palang murag di mahutdan ug hiring, but the important lesson I learned bout job hunting, never loose focus on what you want, its okay to start with a blue collar job, pang maintenance ra, para naa kay pang gasto ug di ka ma kuyawan na hinay2x na nahurot imong kwarta, but be sure to put your job hunting that is related to your profession as 1st, secondary ra na blue collar, dont be blinded by money pud, ang uban mag double job na blue collar kay maka pa daku ug kwarta, and yes, u can afford to buy a new car or even a house na for that, mao ang uban na willy nalng and completely forget their profession na sa pinas, to be able to step to your profession, 2 things u need, the 2 CE's: Canadian Experience and Canadian Education. Invest on the education, I know its really expensive, but in the long run, sulit jud kaau kay ma bawi ra pud nimu daun, better if naka sud ka sa company na mu support sa imong education, mostly naa na xa na benefits, but usually with companies pud na dili blue collar imong work, that's what I've been doing now, atleast naa koy something to look forward to, and ang akong na bayad for na 1.4K for just 1 subj? na bawi na nako, nagka interes pa![]()

Canada ranks 2nd in international happiness study

Canadians are the second happiest group in the world according to a new study released by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
Called "Your better life index", the new measure is part of a wider program to measure well-being and progress of its member countries. The index covers 11 areas: housing, incomes, employment, social relationships, education, the environment, the administration of institutions, health, general satisfaction, security and the balance between work and family.
Australia ranked first in the overall happiness scale. The United States finished seventh, and Turkey finished last.
The study, the first of its kind commissioned by the OECD, begs the question - can happiness really be measured, and if so why would we want to measure it?
In a presentation to the OECD, in 2010, Ruut Veenhoven, a happiness expert from the University of Rotterdam, in the Netherlands, wrote happiness can and should be measured regularly by governments and international organizations.
"Measurement is necessary to assess whether happiness can be realistically raised, to select means to further happiness, and finally to assess the effectiveness of such policies.," he wrote.
Veenhoven notes that promoting happiness and well-being is a legitimate and important goal of government.
"So far the data show that happiness is a realistic goal for public policy," he wrote. "Greater happiness is also possible in most countries of the world (through policy initiatives). What is possible in (high ranking) countries like Denmark and Switzerland should also be possible elsewhere."
He adds happier countries are generally economically prosperous nations, allow for political autonomy, and practice gender equality.
Australia is part desert. I would prefer Canada.

I think new zealand kay canada daghan naglisod ug employment didto ron din mas gi-strict nila ang selection...
pila magasto kung mu-migrate sa Canada and how long? Registered nurse ko.
im not familiar about NZ, but about Canada, yeps, in the start, cant deny it, lisud jud, and you will probably plunge into a survival job aron di ra mahurot imong kwarta kay dolyares bya, but if you strive really hard, not giving up on the job that you wanted, then I'm sure you'll be okay, 2 things you need to find employment here in Canada, Canadian Education and Canadian Experience, if you have both maau, if not, maka stand alone ang usa, but with todays competition, its almost essential to have both
wala man taga Australia ning share sa ela experience dre
