"So I figure I will help people out by coming up with a list and try to handle the criticisms that will certainly arise even before they arise. I can do this because I have a college degree. So I've learned how to think and engage in repartee with other intelligent people."

College just teaches us to be EMPLOYEES!

    not all business succeed.
    not all venture succeed.

not all of us has money (or connections) to start business
not all of us has the luxury to travel the world, create art, master a game, etc. without thinking of how to earn money for everyday consumption.

Most of us CAN indeed create art, master a game or a sport, but we go to college cause we want to learn.
College is a good fallback if everything is fails.

the above post can only realize if the person do have extra money. Take note of the word "extra"
everything is idealistic and not realistic.

the practical thing to do these days is to go to college, find a job, save money then do business.

College is very important even on successful businessman. Try to talk to a successful businessman without college degree and compare it talking to a successful business with college degree (and with working experienced)...

then tell me if college is not important...

    just keep it balanced.

the article is based in the US. so dili na 100% mo apply diri.
and what people fail to see when they look at Billionaires without college education, are the thousands who fail to succeed.

a college degree increases the chance of being successful, but its not a guarantee. Samot na kung ang mindset sa student kay empleyado ra for life.

for me its a balance between having a degree, hard work, and financial literacy.
but if you think your business skills are topnotch and doesn't need further education, then go ahead.
Ive seen people pull it off and they are very happy, if palpak, naa ra bitaw ang university.

a company offering you a job right out of college rarely happens here in the Philippines.
nagbaha ang "qualified" unemployed thats why they can afford to keep salaries low.
