barato raman ang drum heads (for acoustic drums) and nature man gyud na sa acoustic drums na mag-ilis ug heads if necessary na, plus not to mention, naay mga high quality heads nga mas longer ug life-span and helps make the sound nice too!!
however....... compared if maguba ang drum pads (electric drums), dili basta2 maka-replace ug any kay kelangan compatible ang model, and concerns like naa bay service centers/electrician nga brave mu-open sa unit? assurance nga ma-repair gyd ang unit, and i doubt low-end electric drum models sell spare parts.. whereas sa acoustic drums spare parts are very available and modify-able (kung ma da pa gyud)..
pero electric or acoustic drums? depende ra gyud na nimo.. hahahahaha
just weigh the pros and cons.. share2 lang sad pud ko![]()

It doesn't happen all the time - I recently switched drumheads. I've been using my old heads for roughly 8 years, I didn't switch because I broke the heads but because I wanted a new sound from my kit.

You can actually buy triggers and "brain" and make your tradional trapkit into an electronic drumkit. It will cost a bit more but the drum will still feel the same way... unlike the electronic drums where you only have a choice between the dead rubber pad or the bouncy mesh head.
The thing with the electronic kit is that you can play with headphones and not bother the neighbors. You can't do that with an acoustic drumset (triggered or not).
Why pamper life's complexities when the leather runs smooth on the passenger seat?
takes up less space
cousin of mine uses both

cool, good for long hours of use you won't get tired, quality of sounds will depend on skill and amplifier quality, handy-can only be placed in one box, you get more of your physical exposed in pictures since no two big toms in front of you, easy access in recordings

if no electricity you know what happens, kinda pricey only at first or if you damage it.
traditional
adv. no electricity needed, good for acoustics
disadv. quality will depend on how its taken care of and number of times used, not very handy.
if you are a good drummer, any will do. all you need is the skills on how to deal with the instrument.
A good musician can use the worst instrument and play it like its the best one in store.
Music rocks!
