UITF vs. Mutual Funds

i have my money invested sa BDO peso blanced fund..so far, gamay pa ug tubu kay couple of weeks pako nag invest kay try ra nako..naa pud ko MF..ako sila e-compare if asay maau..I wonder unsaun pag compute sa imu profit sa MF ug UITF...

hinay man gyud nang balance fund... bisan asa nga MF or UITF.. kay safer mana xa kaysa equity fund. try bdo equity fund, dba dako2x ug gain.

insured d.i ang MF sa PDIC?

MF and UITF are not insured kay investment products mani sila.
Time deposits are insured because the interest rate provided by banks are a joke.

when you invest in UITF or MF, dont expect super fast growth unless gikan ug market crash. in normal market conditions, the growth is at an average of 12% for equity funds.

if you want faster growth, you need to invest in stocks.
but try to study first or get burned in the process if pataka raka invest.
if no time to study, then continue with mutual funds.

money market fund is conservative type of uitf man tingali boss. lahi ra ug return kaysa bdo equity fund nga aggressive.


note: naa na daily updates ang bdo uitf sa ilang daily navpu. nangutana ko ani pag butang nko ug equity fund, ingon wa daw, karon naa na or wa lang to xa kabalo.

correct bai. naa man gud uban, ganahan mahibal-an tanan before mosugod. ang ending di jud kasugod.

ok ra naay basic idea then start na. ayaw lang sa invest ug amount nga makayabo sa current status kay ga learn paman. pag naa nay confidence then increase the investments.

PDIC insured ni? kay mura raman time deposit ang interest.

even sa MF bond funds, naa naman sa 8% average per annum.
