grabe jud bitaw ning mga inani nga driver... walay mga uwaw... kusog pa gyud mang reklamo... usahay mu hirit pa ug ingon na pun-an lang ang bayad kay layo... unsaon?! mao bitaw naay metro...
thats happened to me a few times...and usually its when i open my mouth...i cant speak bisaya, so they know right away im not from there...the worst experience i had was when i got charged 200 peso from Marriott to Robinsons...i was naive at the time, didnt worry bout the meter being on or not, but i wasnt having none of that...almost had a punchup with that f**ker...in the end i paid 50 peso...i threw that to his face...goin to the airport is always a hassle...u get bastards charging 300 or more to the airport...they dont compare to taxi drivers in manila though.
naa jud tikasan na drivers oi. i rode a cab from fuente to banilad. g.ignan bitaw ko na i should add an additional of 50 pesos kai layo ra kono ang banilad. hahay...i got out of the cab and slammed the door. unfortunately out of my anger, i forgot to take the place number. when i go the airport, i always make sure to call a holiday taxi because they always put the meter on.
Tip:
#Dont talk too much to the taxi driver.
#Guide him the way kung asa ka padung.
#Make sure that the meter is on.
#If taxi driver will insist not to use meter, slam the door and call a police or grab another taxi.
#Lastly, make sure you have the exact money (drivers mostly dont give exact change)
not just foreigners ang aling kipang-ilad, pati ang anak ni PGMA gani, si luli arroyo man tingali toh, ki-ilad man gani sa mga taxi driver sa cebu. dapat, tan-awa kung naka-andar ang meter reading, then get the cab's plate number. kung naa ID ang driver, kuha-a sab na. mao na impt. sa pag-sakay og taxi.
OT:
diba naa man gipang post sa mga taxi sa hotline na pwede ka mut text kung naay manikas na driver... nya madakop dayon nila ang taxi within that day dayun... i-text lang nimo ang ngan sa taxi, plate number etc... pero kalimot ko kun unsa to ang number na i-text... naay kabalo diri?
Dont blame the taxi drivers.. blame the LTFRB.. they approved too many franchises...even bogus na nag uban..
Because of too many Taxi scouring the city right now, most of them dont have choice but to stop somewhere and hope for something big. If they opt to compete with other drivers, then they still might end up with no income at the end of the day..bisan pa og LPG na ilang gamit..mas daghan pa ang sakyanan kaysa manakay..and with our economy today, taxi will be the last resort...
In airport, most of them waited hours just to have a "jackpot" passenger..so its reason enough for them to charge high, lisud na kaaro diri ron..so iya iya lang og diskarte...
Its all about our present economic situation, theyre just doing their best to survive ...
