SUPERSTITIONS? I am not so into superstitions man uy pero in a way naa sad gud gehapon gamay! hehehe Kani lang ay kay pinaka significant!

In FENG SHUI, they say na ang animals daw or GOLD FISH, if mag pet ka ana sa inyung house, when 1 dies, it means it takes a BAD SPIRIT or BAD ELEMENT along with it. Mura ba ug kung baga, siya ang ni absorb sa bad energy to protect you or your family.

So here goes the story and it is kinda freaky!

When I was in MANILA for the DENTAL REVIEW until BOARD EXAM, I had a boardmate whose BF was selling dachshund puppies. When I went home for a 1 week vacation, I went to LEYTE via fastcraft just to get the BROWN PUP and then back immediately to CEBU to go home. I named that pup "DOOKIE."

When I went back to MANILA, okay pa to siya complete with all shots etcetera and he was really playful and garaun pero okay ra na discipline ra.

When BOARD EXAM came, during the first day of exam, I was shaking as if I was under a panic attack. As in whole body gyud nako, akong nerves was shaking ug dili mahimutang. When I was taking my PRACTICAL BOARD EXAM where my hands were really needed, I was shaking too which I really did not need especially kay I was using my hands sa practical. In a way I really needed to calm down and so I kept on praying gyud para ma kampante gyud ko.

So mao na to, humana akong board exam and I went home na to CEBU! When I arrived home, I looked for DOOKIE! Then ana akong mom naa diri sa luyo kay nag BAD DOG! So ni adto pod intawn ko sa luyo kay excited ko makakita niya. But then, pag abot namo didto near the MANGO TREE, ni tudlo si mommy sa ubos sa tree and cge ko tanaw pangita asa si DOOKIE. All I saw there was a piece of candle that already burned down dayun nag scatter na all over sa side ang mga melted candles. Patay na diay si DOOKIE.

My mother told me the story and she said that DOOKIE died during the time nag BOARD EXAM ko and during the time I told her I was shaking and kulbaan ko sa akong BOARD EXAM. My mom daw went sa among backyard walking around and in a way talking to herself na at thesame time talking to the spirits or elementals sa surroundings. Mura bag ingun siya na,

"Si Aubrey naa sa Manila karun for the board exam. I know peaceful ra ta tanan na nag puyo diri. Wala ra mi nanghilabot ninyo and wala ra sad mo namo abuga. Mura ra baya ta ug family diri diba? I hope if naa moy mabuhat to help her, tabangi sad ninyo ha?"

A few weeks later after that, the BOARD EXAM RESULTS came in and I PASSED......ONLY TAKE 1 but no more DOOKIE!

PRO ko ana! I think OA ra kaayo ang CHURCH to meddle in it. In a way, ang RIGHTS namo mga babae getapakan. Kay ngano? Ang CHURCH ba mupakaun sa mga anak namo or unwanted children or pregnancies if dili ta mag BIRTH CONTROL? Murag para nako, mas musamot ka daghan ug madungagan ang sala if wala.

Atimana ha na ni LOBO na atong population karun PLUS nagka mahal ang mga pamalitun ug ngka lisod tanan tao. Atimana daw ang mga tao who only earn PHP 200 a day or nothing at all unya daghan kaayo ug anak? Unsa man? Mag TIR-TIR nalang ta ani?

NOTE: TIR-TIR is a term used by people sa Manila area sa FOOD na mga salin salin sa mga food shops or restaurants that they collect instead of garbage. What they do is they collect it, separate the UNOD from the BONE and ang UNOD ila na e fry balik or luto balik then repack and sell balik sa people. Usually sa mga poor, okay ra sila ana.

a. Education - Jose Rizal once said, "The youth is the hope of our Motherland." Dili man nato ma feel ang difference sa PHILIPPINES at present if we make it a top priority, but mind you, our future will become brighter than it is now and mas mu benefit ang atung future if we work on that right now. Atimana how many people now can't find a job because they are not educated or walay educational background?

b. Hunger - Wala man tingali tao nga dili mu kaun and that is one of our top problems not only here but all over the world.

c. Housing - We all need shelter baya and a place to call our own where we can live, grow, see our family grow and our children grow up to make someone out of themselves.

d. Greener earth - Solar solutions for Electricity and car fuel or anything that needs to use Fuel.

e. To follow lang sah kay ako sah huna hunaun! hehehhe

3. uyon ka nga ibanan ang pork barel sa mga congressmans and senators?
Uyon cge go sago! hehhe dako na baya na sila ug sweldo ha! And to think na most of them already have businesses of their own. Dili ta dapat mgpaka sakim. If they really wanna make a difference, it should start within them. If we really wanna make a difference, why not give those budgets to our less fortunate brothers and sisters rather than having those and adding those to their budgets for only sitting there and talking about how to make a difference.

We have a lot of known and good inventors. How about Let us all go GREEN like TAIWAN or CHINA? Let us all switch to SOLAR, ELECTRICAL or SOLAR & ELECTRICAL CARS or HYBRIDS!!! That would really be nice! Less smoke, less pollution, more greener earth for everyone! At least ba, naa pay FUTURE GREEN EARTH na ma abtan sa atung mga kids and apos diba?

Here are examples of SOLAR STUFFS....harness the sun that not only is making the earth HOT and giving us light, but also helping us in giving electricity or fuel solar cars.!

I think so. But in a way, America also has their own problems para e dungag pata sa ilang problema. Cguro ang naka nindot lang if we are still under American rule is that dili nata mulukat VISA just to go to the USA and cguro American benefits.

The reason man sad our country asked for freedom from the USA is for us to have our own identity as Filipinos. Pride sad nato in a way.

Pero mind you, the Filipino's you see now won't be as beautiful and handsome as we see them if not for the foreigners who came and ruled our country for a time. If walay ni sakop nato, we would all look like THIS....

for my question of the day,

I have not been to any other country yet except PHILIPPINES so I guess I cannot choose to compare kay wala paman ko ka experience sa other countries! But if ever in terms lang of 'WHAT I KNOW,' I'd learn FRENCH and move to CANADA, FRANCE or UK where their health care insurance or benefits something is really, really good.

Blame it on the documentary about HEALTH CARE INSURANCE/BENEFITS sa USA nga ge compare nila sa other countries particularly those 3. "SICKO" is the title.

Sicko is the latest documentary by Michael Moore, who has achieved notoriety (and, some may say, infamy) for his films Fahrenheit 9/11 and Bowling for Columbine. In Sicko, Moore examines the American healthcare system and compares it to other countries.

Imagine, a UK HOSPITAL, pregnant woman comes in early because she is almost due for her delivery. She gives birth stays there for a few days, goes to the cashier and then goes home. Her stay there is FREE. You'll ask me, "What's with the cashier? Unsay gamit sa cashier?" Well, you'll be surprised to know that the HOSPITAL's CASHIER reimburses your gasto going to the HOSPITAL and gives you more money for you to be able to go home for taxi etcetera. Aside from that, the government, knowing that you are a NEW MOTHER, sends you some sort of NANNY or person who would go to your house, take care of your BABY or help you take care of your baby and could even cook for you, do dishes and stuff! Amazing noh? Hehheh Btaw, you'll get what I mean if you see the movie. Basta mao na siya akong summary! ehhehe That is just one of the examples there but mind you, there are many more examples. Hehhe
