oh so is the word OFW offensive now? i have tons of friends who are OFWs too. most of them in the medical field.. the problem with people like you is you dont think before you do or say anything.

what i know is that if you are a filipino who has a contract abroad, or a job in the overseas that supported your visa, that means you are an OFW.

i wonder, is it always the OFW title used when a pinoy is in america? singapore? canada? Hong kong? who wouldnt get pissed when your in hong kong having a vacation then suddenly told that your an OFW?

im actually surprised. most of you find the word OFW offensive. as if ubos inyong tan-aw sa mga ofw, when in fact they are the one who earns a lot. kung ako lang, taas akong tan-aw nila. now i know the attitude of filipinos towars OFWs

yeah i lived and worked here and im also granted citizenship but i prefer to be a permanent resident than a citizen cause of our country law that you are only granted 2 citizenship. and i since we are planning to go to the US and stay there in 4 to 5 years from now. i would still prefer to be an american citizen than a kiwi citizen.
