Lagman had been vocal about it and can you see population control indicated in the bill?

and whats stopping people to limit the number of children? in order to control our population we need to target 2.5 children per household.

Politicians do not want to discuss it because they do not want this bill to be defined by its intent to minimize population growth as this should not be the central focus of this bill.

It doesnt have to be written in the bill for us to realize what the effects of its passage will be.

To physically impose limits on children per family is a violation of our freedom. The rhb aims to lower the number of children per household through education and access to state funded famly planning methods for those who cannot afford or do not have access to it.

If the the parents or the Church had failed promoting abstinence. what chance pud the government can promote it ? why give away RH rights to teens pud?

and please tubaga pud akong mga pangutana.
sugod na sad ka anang bashing... hehe
I may sound dumb for repeating it. Maybe because i'm talking to one. You don't get the point. You keep on repeating that RH bill is giving rights to minors on contraceptives/services/engaging in s*x when the fact is RH bill is not making any difference such as giving/adding rights for minors to access to contraceptives/engage in s*x. Dili man kaha bawal sa balaod nato, so pasabot, pwede ra bisan wala pay RH bill.

I never said teaching abstinence did not work. What I said was.. It was never done effectively. Specially by the Catholic church na saba kaayo ani.
The gov't can't promote strictly abstinence kay mahimo na nang religious stand. Separation of church and state, dapat walay paboran na religion ang state.

heard meriam in the news telling pacquiao to shut up. ako sad, pasagdi gud na si pacquaio unsay iyang pagtoo eh. after all, he is a congressman, so mocomment jud na siya sa RH Bill. Until niingon si Meriam na why magpa PRO LIFE PRO LIFE si Pacquiao when iyang Misis admitted nga gagamit ug pills. Hay, ubay ubay jud ang hypocrites.

I’m for responsible parenthood. I am PRO RH bill. But honestly, i am beginning to think if ever our government would FUND this BILL (distribution of condoms, ligation, vasectomy, except for IUD and some pills which i believe can cause abortion).

Meaning, in the future, nai possibility na mas mudaghan sila, e compare sa Christians. Pariha sa nahitabu sa Europe ex. France. I don't like na one day naa tay SHARIA Law.

So para nako i am for responsible parenthood, freedom to choose kung unsa'y hiyang sa tao may it be natural or artificial (except IUD, and some pills) family planning. But i think dili maayo na if funded ni siya like distribution of condoms, if funded man gani, kana rang ligation or vasectomy.

Q: Ano na po ang status ng bill?

It has undergone many revisions based on the numerous hearings that we've had and technical working groups and consultations. So I'm literally line-by-line going through all the recommendations to finalize the version. The bill is with me, we have been going through it with my staff for the whole break and malapit na sya.

It kinda feels awkward to kneel and pray the oratio imperata that urges the trashing of the rh bill after the mass just because I have to, because that is what the church tells me to do when deep in my heart I know that this RH Bill will have a positive effect on the lives of millions of filipinos IF implemented CORRECTLY.

In my personal opinion...i don't see the difference between their so-called abortion (caused by the use of contraceptives) and letting the child live and starve on the streets, uneducated and uncared for....the mere fact that these children do not have food clothing and shelter..is the violation already of their basic human rights.
