So you mean, giving contraceptives to the parents will elevate themselves from poverty? Instead of prioritizing EDUCATION and JOB CREATION?

@dale_df: are you blind? are you not seeing poverty = over population?

fo example, ang mga tawo naa sa kadalanan lang nagpuyo, unsaon man nimu pag-address sa ilang needs? tagaan na lang ug contraceptives instead na tagaan ug trabaho? is that what you mean?

    HOUSE BILL NO. 5043

AN ACT PROVIDING FOR A NATIONAL POLICY ON REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH, RESPONSIBLE PARENTHOOD AND POPULATION DEVELOPMENT, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

I can still remember when I was signing up a job contract in a company where they listed me my job description and the end part it says "...and others".

And I ended up doing more than what the job description says just because of the word "...and others."

ive read part of the rh bill ni lagman as well as research ang the effects and how the pill and IUD works.. and i stand by with the church that goverment should value life bsan unsa pa na stage.. never will i agree with lagman's rh bill.
kung ang mga tao mo agree sa rh bill mayta cla ra ang itax sa goverment because i could never stand and participate to goverment that will use my money to kill an unborn human.

with my comments i know alot of people will reply and tell me na ignorante ko ug pataka lang ko ug sulti... ang ako lang read and research sa before you say something again this post.. know the facts para dili ta ma ignorante!

fyi. japan-singapore-taiwan (to name a few) are more populated than the Philippines that is in terms of ratio sa land area to the number of people.. if that is your reason na pobre ta think again.. there's alot of solution but not an easy one. it involves everyone's cooperation sacrifice and decipline.. tell you lagman's rh bill is never one of the sol .. sa rh bill mugasto man gihapon ta ani ang mka ginansya ani kay ang mga midleman ra gihapon ug ang mga pharmacitical companies na mag create aning pills na i promote sa goverment. in fact this is another source of corruption sa atong mga buaya na politiko... for now we still dont have the figures kung pila unya i allocate sa goverment sa bill kung ma approve man gani but i tell you its gonna be billions.. ig sugod sa deal ani laing nsang source of income sa mga hudas na naa sa public office. again i urge everyone to read the facts about contraception and do research who are the people behind population control.. remember for us Christians that HE NEVER WENT WITH THE FLOW and as A follower of Christ i will never agree with what the world is telling me..

Even without reading the bill (don't worry I have read it), from the mere fact the bill is imposing to use cond*ms that has taken me the freedom to pro-create as well us the freedom to decide on my own. Can't the people understand why the govt need to impose it? Cond*ms are sold anywhere, people can use it anytime if they want to.

But because of the (people) govt's greediness they need to impose such law because they will have a percentage or a share from big medical companies when they sell their abortion medicines (when cond*ms just don't work).

RH bill is just one tool for population control...

    > this bill aims to educate and expose us all to methods & products and helps for family planning within the community and schools and the bottomline is its still up to us kung mogamit ba ta sa products/methods nga ilang ipakita sa ato..

As far as I can remember, dugay na man ni gitudlo sa mga kabarangayan ang about sa methods sa family planning.. Why allocate such amount of money for the contraceptives? And they cut the budget for Education?

There are many provisions in the bill that are very broad.. Walay specific nga buhaton in case.. Let's take for example, kani nga section..

    SEC. 20. Ideal Family Size

The State shall assist couples, parents and individuals to achieve their desired family size within the context of responsible parenthood for sustainable development and encourage them to have two children as the ideal family size. Attaining the ideal family size is neither mandatory nor compulsory. No punitive action shall be imposed on parents having more than two children.

--Unsaon man sa government ang couple nga molapas sa ideal family size, molapas ug duha ilang anak unya di diay makabuhi?

If you do some research, the family who has well-educated parents (mostly) only have 1-4 children and (some doesn't even have) compared to the parents who are not reached by govt projects. Proper education is what we need and it doesn't need to be the RH bill. Don't blame the poor or the people who has big family - you go blame the government!
