    Palace to Church: Cool it
Tension over reproductive health bill escalates

Palace to Church: Cool it - INQUIRER.net, Philippine News for Filipinos

“The Church is motivated by genuine love and concern for the people and the poor, unlike the RH bill proponents who are certainly motivated by the love of money and they use the poor for them to stay in power,” said Oblepias, whose statement was also posted on the CBCPNews.
    - Unsa na genuine love sa poor ila pasabot? We love the poor so stay poor so that we will love you? Sa ako makita, ma lessen pa gani ang uneducated voters ani after a few years. So that means, lesser chance na majority sa voters ang ma-ilad sa politiko.

The point of my resistance without religious biased is that the bill had many flaws - i had enumerated a lot of it. The most honest way in supporting the RH bill is that it helps the poor except the pro life poor lol, si miyay lang dire consistent to that.

How many of people here reluctant to have your taxes to go through personal practices? We are not a welfare state, we dont have budget for everything with our bad economic policies and corruption.

About your pro-life poor, maybe we can have the government give them a free calendar or a pamphlets on Natural Family Planning or we can ask the government to provide basal thermometer.

have you been to your barangay health center?

Ang point tingali sa bill and the Church cannot disagree with it (or they can by saying it promote ***) is that it provides information on different methods on family planning.

Its the ROLE of the state to provide people choices but it is still up to the people.

I'm on the same boat with Romejin. My hesitation towards the RH bill (minus any religious bias) is that first, it is a very ambiguous bill, and anyhting nga dili klaro may be deceitful, and 2nd, it is flawed. naay uban provisions nga ning contradict sa uban provisions, and naay uban provisions nga i am totally against.

i am against our CURRENT RH Bill. BUT, i am open for its revision. so i am against the RH bill, not because nag-paka DAMASO ko, but because i seriously think our current RH Bill needs revising/fine tuning pa. Prone man gud kaayo siya to abuse (esp sa mga politicians na side) because daghan pa ug loopholes.

besides, when you really read the entire bill, walay provision didto nag mention about Population Control (since Population Control man kasagaran sa rason sa mga Pro-RH diri).

please read the ENTIRE bill before you decide to be strongly against or for the RH bill. ayaw padala sa hype sa media. instead of searching for Advantages/Disadvantages about the bill, basaha sa ang ENTIRE bill, then make your OWN decision based sa imo nasabtan sa bill. This for me is a truly informed choice.

Para nako wala may sakto or sayop na side, whether ma PRO ka or ANTI. as long as, gibasa nimo ang ENTIRE bill. at least maka-ingon ka, na your decision is an informed choice jud. dili kay based lang sa imong makit-an sa TV or sa storya2 sa imong mga kaila.

bai plush....naa sad kai point ug ako ng irespeto pero ang main nga reason nganung pro rh bill ko kay para mahimong RESPONSABLE ang pinoy...kay naa sad rabay mga pinoy noh nga puro lang palami nya inig gawas sa bata magkara kara...susmaryosep, byaan lang ang bata sa amahan ug inahan(teenage pregnancy). thus, educating individual is the key to success plus being Responsible will make this country great... no more whining but instead, become an innovator, disciplined and responsableng pinoy...

Unsa ang mga items na kailangan i-revise and how do you improve it? Para makita sad nato ang mga points.
Agree ko nimo na dili dapat himuong primary subject na lalisan ang population control kay dili na mao ang direct purpose of this bill. But some people bring up population because information on RH will affect the decision of couples on size of family. Population growth rate may continue to increase but at least there is a bigger chance that we have a quality future because they are provided with basic needs and education.

Default Pastoral Letter of CBCP to the Filipino People Against RH Bill

In this Pastoral letter video, the CBCP outlines the reasons why they are opposing the RH Bill. And I believe the Filipino people should also know and take part just exactly what this bill imposes and the tragic effects that it can do to our country. Let us make a stand, as one Filipino people, who has pro-life culture and help prevent Pnoy on passing this "killer" bill to our country.
