No it is not the same. That's the primary reason why I don't trust pictures and videos alone. You said it yourself---a picture paints a thousand words. A picture or video can depict many angles in which a normal eye interprets differently. Do you watch MAGIC on TV/YOUTUBE?

How would I know it's reliable? Let's put it this way---that's what I went to school for. I paid money for my education to distinguish which is a reliable paper and which is not. A reliable paper consists of peer reviews, scientific journals, and many more.

Where the heck do you get your information from? There were even a couple of mails recovered from the Jetliner that crashed into one of the towers and one of it is a valid passport. And there were a couple of dollar bills---and I'm sure they'll eventually make their way to the 9/11 memorial.

Are you implying President Obama LIED to the public about Osama's death, and that Osama is in Guantanamo (or anywhere in the earth), to quickly boost his ratings for next year's election? That accusation is unfounded, since the repercussions of this so-called "LIE" is VERY HUGE that no president would ever take that route.

According to the news, he's saying that somebody's dead.

While I may agree with your Filipino teacher, it is also quite ridiculous to think when the tower collapsed the average laymen thought "Hey, no way those towers collapsed, they must have been demolished!!!" yet they don't have the proper training/education to conclusively state that the towers were indeed demolished. And these are the same people who continuously disagree with the engineers and architects who spent YEARS in school studying the design and construction of buildings.
