I mean it's REAL slow for me. It takes me weeks to finish a mini. hehehe

Ah, time slicing between hobbies?
I finished my 8th Space Marine or 4th Blood Angel today. There are less paint spills (kampat) compared to my first 7. The magnifying visor does indeed help
It would be great if Games Workshop makes muzzle blast, plasma, melta, and in this case flame accessories. Too lazy to Photoshop them.
I also colored the what I assume is a fuel gauge (full or still empty) - the green thingie.
The customary back view
I'll take a break today to rest my hands but I will start cleaning the sargeant of my Ultramarine Combat Squad tonight (if I feel like it) or tomorrow for sure.
I hope there would be more WHF and WH40K peeps who would post here besides jumps and yours truly.
I REALLY should get that magnifying visor... Yes there are Warhammer Modellers; they're just too busy with their new cameras and Magic: the Gathering at the moment.
Cheers!
@jumps:I'm only using the 1.7x lens but I'll probably use the 2x and 2.5x for more detailed models like Grey Knights, Captains, organics, etc.
I magnetized the head using 1mm x 1mm and the left limb with 3mm x 1mm. I decided to experiment on the Blood Angels Sargeant first because the Ultramarine Sargeant would be the one most magnetized in terms of interchangeabilityThis one I did for a semi-action figure look.

Aha, nice. I can only imagine how tedious it might have been to magnetize the head.
Cheers!
@jumps: The head was actually easy. It was the shoulder that I mistakenly overdrilled (the bit went through the body). Thank goodness for Tamiya's Light Curing Putty. Good thing I didn't sell it to ground_crashed yet. I PMed him saying I won't be selling it anymore because it comes in handy when repairing "accidents."![]()
