    thanks alot
    positive:
    - USM
    - IS
    - walk around focal length

    negative:
    - zoom creep
(kanang if imong iposition ug paubos, mo-zoom xa ug iyaha)
    - medyo bug-at
    - mas kusog mokaon ug batterya tungod sa IS
(pero OC ra ni nga comment)

i'm a 28-135mm owner. dili ra man kaayo nako negative ang zoom creep.

what you think ill go for 55-250?
im still newbie on this field of photography
then your next option is a telephoto na bro. you can with the cheaper 55-250 or the more expensive 70-200mm.

IMHO, 18-55 and 50mm f/1.8 is a very good line-up already. if i were you, i'd invest in lights or filters instead. lights if you're into portraits or events, filters if you're into landscapes.

guys, naa ako amigo baligya nga lens from Japan with leather bag....600-1000mm...tama ba na? haven't checked the specs of the said lens...but ok ra ba ni siya?

I think I will be needing a tripod for this...

aw 50mm f1.8 is already good enough

if you have the money invest more on primes pa gyud, and you wont turn back.
if nakai one flash ok nana, ayaw na pag daghan daghan og flash kay samok na kayu ang storbist strobist nga pa uso. mas gamit pa 28mm f1.8 usm, 50mm f1.8 and 85mm f1.8 usm!!!! lenses last and got more use than flash.
para nako sakto ranang 18-50mm IS na kit lens.
if you to buy a zoom all i can suggest para nimo for hobby is tokina 11-16 f2.8 and 70-200mm f2.8 L (ayaw nalang pag IS kay bugat og gamit lang kayu IS if hilig ka video 20k pa gyud ang price gap sa IS version)

    Naa nakay 18-55 and a 50mm prime.

    1. let us know how much are you willing to spend for your next lens
    - this will help us narrow down the selection of lens we can suggest

    2. what do you usually shoot? landscapes? portraits? wildlife? can't decide? then you haven't grown out of your current setup yet.

    3. do you want to stay in the same focal range (18-55mm)and just replace your kit lens with something more suitable for you?
    - consider getting the EF-S 17-55 f/2.8

    Sir,
before getting a new glass, get to know yourself first, either paki-landscape ka? portraits? sports/wildlife? travel? then start buying lenses on what you need

the range 28-135 works best for me as walk-around lense if I am on an FX body... on a DX body this range would be not as useful on my behalf

an 18-200 or 18-250 would be best in getting to know yourself
