@arf2: thanks for the interest.. Hmmmnn.. sad to say, its important to have access to internet man gud so that you'd be able to access your files anywhere..

Ang gi-solve man gud ani niya is primarily: to solve problems inherent in bringing portable storage devices such as flash drives, etc. Problems such as lost flashdrives, corrupted flashdrives, corrupted hard disks, etc.

Not safe as of the moment. A researcher found a security hole in the authentication side of dropbox. Refer to my post here:

Whatever exist that relies on computer bro is not or may not be safe - dropbox, facebook, google, even istorya.net .. you name it. Also, if you guys think flashdrives are safer, then think again. Back in college 5 years ago, (out of curiosity ) I even was able to make a program that copies files from inserted flashdrives and sends that file to me. But then, later on I find it unethical to do such thing and I trashed that program out. The thing is, I know daghan capable mobuhat ani nga program, the question is, kinsa pa kahay nag-ing-ani?

Anyway, I am posting this, just to tell everyone that there is an alternative way of saving files. No big deal. I just liked the tool eventhough "safety" is not guaranteed, (unsa man diay nga website ang guaranteed nga safe ). And if I would share it with others, why should I share only the plain link when in fact, Dropbox, in itself, allowed anyone (whoever is interested to increase their storage) would just share the link that would somehow increase there storage too! However, I have to repeat again that this is only intended to those who are interested. I am not "pleading" everyone to trash out their flash drives.. It is just a mere title just to get attention. Please don't fail me, I do always believe nga kita mga Pinoy dili dali mailad. I hope you get my point!

To admin, I would be happy if you close this thread just to clear things out.

    P.S.

I know dropbox, facebook, google, and even istorya.net have done their part of securing their site as much as possible and I know they are still continuously innovating for ways to improve their site especially with regards to security. I salute you guys.
