what is the edge of Filipino professionals (IT or engineering)?

I notice that working in an IT/engineering industry the competitor of Filipino professionals are Indians. Indians are known to excel on this field. They even have big IT companies in their country. They are also in demand in other countries. What do you think is our edge over them? Is there any?

i agree on this completely! english is the edge we have from indians. again, communication is the key. any modules or manuals can be learned easily by filipinos. in other words, we can be trained.
with that ability or skill filipinos still have the edge.
indians on the other hand are learning a lot now about english. they also have the edge in technology.
bottomline, filipinos and indians are still equal. although americans prefer filipinos compared to indians because of the amazing accent they have.

eh, the Philippines can't say English is an edge anymore. Everyone speaks English.
