Ngayo lang ko sa mga idea sa mga master ug network nga naka suway na ani. Ky gusto nako kung asa ang saun nga e-configure then nindot sad xa in terms of network security...

To stop your neighbor from sniffing or using your internet connection for free, enable ang WPA encryption. Do not use WEP kay compromised na ni.

For the internet/WAN, normally ang default sa routers is already secured. But you could port forward some services if you are planning to connect to your home PC from outside.

On my home router, I only enable SSH (service 22). Its encrypted and can tunnel to any ports on my home pc, even X protocol.

LINKSYS bai.. DABEST!!! sure ko... mao sad na akong gamit karon.. so far wala jd koy problema.. pede ra way basa2x manual..easy to use..

am using linksys - first time ko naka setup ug wireless connection, no sweat was able to connect to the net wireless after 10 minutes...heheh
not sure w. dlink though...
