Canon DSLR, are they the same stuff? but with different names?

Question lang mga sir and maam, i was just curios about the different names of canon dslr's in the market today such as the
500d, 550d, kiss X3, kiss, T1i, T2i.
they say, that only the name are changed due to the place that they were released, but how come the prices are different?

The Canon Kiss X3 is cheaper than the 500d but the T1i is much expensive than the two.
so the 3 are same DLSR, how come the japan released (kiss X3) is cheaper and the US released (T1i) is very much expensive??

And if all of them are really the same, would you sell them in different prices?

I believe they are not the same, naay slight difference. pero if di ka professional photographer di kaayo ma detect ang changes.

design wise naa gamay og mga specs naay na upgrade pero gamay lang.

Lain lain man nga market, lain lain pud price. Naa pud cguro lain factors pud like sa tax ba or unsa.

Mura rag Shell VPower mas mahal diri kaysa sa manila.

Kiss sa Japan market na cya
Rebel T* sa US market na cya
550 or 500 sa other market na

So far Japan ang pinaka barato ug body sa DSLR pero sa lens sila ang pinaka mahal sad.

lahi2x jud na sila bai... parihas rana gud sa cellphone lain2x ang model lain2x pod og features... mao rapod na sa mga dslr... try to search nalang sa ilang mga reviews.

@Cia: what i mean is the 500d T1i and kiss x3 are the same cam daw, but how come they are sold here in the Philippines but lahi2 sila og price.

if there is no difference at all, why would somebody sell all the 3, in the same store and sell them at different prices? i know cause ive seen a store selling the 3.

@Cia: dont tell if naay iphone from the us and iphone from japan. there the same phone, u would sell them at different price? no matter where is it made, its the same stuff bearing the same brand, and same gadget..
