Memory card reader

Mga Bro,

just asking if you have some knowledge about the connection of the card reader to the motherboard. I only saw the connection for USB, Mic, & Speaker, power, reset, & hdd led. But I haven't seen the connection for card reader. I am using a gigabyte motherboard- GA-945GZM-S2.

Kun naa mo knowledge about this, palihug lang share kun unsaon pag connect. thanks.

is you card reader for internal or external use?
- if external, the reader should come with a usb cable to connect it to one of the available usb ports on your board
- if internal, the reader should come with a usb connector designed to connect to a motherboard's on-board usb headers.

My card reader is an internal one. It comes with a cable but I don't know asa na cya dapit i connect dapit sa motherboard. Since you are talking with USB, adto nako i connect sa USB connector?

@rsarigum: you motherboard manual should have the pin assignments for the usb headers (usually V+, GND, Data+, and Data-). Just connect the card reader's leads to the corresponding pins on the board. take care to connect the leads to the proper pins on the board coz if you commit a mistake, your board or card reader might get damaged permanently.

if your card reader came with a usb connector for the motherboard headers, make sure each lead goes into the corresponding pin on the motherboard...
