Default PRICE/PERFORMANCE: budget gaming cards for dx9.0c/dx10/dx10.1

i wont be playing high'end games.. just at a resolution of 1280*1024..
    eyeing on 7600GT oc'ed 256MB(128bits) / 8600GT oc'ed 256MB(128bits)/ 8600GTS 256MB(128bits)/ x1950pro 256MB(256bits)..
some reviews said that these cards mentions are par w/ each other in dx9.0c games and even in dx10..

my budget is less than 5,498.00

in ALL honesty the 8600 series is REALLY bad for price/performance why not settle for a 3850 instead. that card has the BEST price performance for an midrange card

If you want real performance, skip these cards and get something better instead. The 3850 or the 8800 GT 512 MB are good choices.
