How to forgive your parents

•First, know what was the reason behind the abandonment. Try to find out the facts and details on why your parents wouldn't take care of you and left you.

•Second, knowing the reason and the history behind it then consider it. Was what they did right or wrong? Did you become a better or worse person because of it? If you were in their shoes at that time, what would you have done?

If the reason isn't sound and acceptable for you, then maybe you're not ready to forgive your parents yet.

•Third, if the parent/s is asking for forgiveness, showing deep regret and remorse and willing to make or is doing amends for the past then you might consider letting go of the past, and forgive your parents.

its just that everytime i see them, ma-remember nko ang ilang gibuhat and i know the reason and its not valid enough. Now that we are professionals nibalik na sila..its selfish dba?

I believe that even if they won't ask for forgiveness, you can still forgive them. forgiveness is not about them; it
s about you. it's letting go of the resentment/hurts that bind you to them or to the past.

they are still your parents no matter what. it's important to forgive & forget then move on para sad wlay hang up sa life. naa ra nimo if you will invite them in your life or not.
