Responsibilities:
· Linux Server Administration
· Monitoring and maintaining multiple IT systems
· Handing escalated trouble tickets
· Resolving customer issues
· Troubleshooting and resolving software errors and hardware faults
· Network management and maintenance. E.g. switching, VLANs, routing

Required Skills:
· Good Linux Skills: Debian, CentOS
· Good troubleshooting and fault finding skills
· Good LAMP/LEMP knowledge
· Understanding of networking and protocols
· Email server technologies: Exim, Postfix
· Ability to prioritise and work on multiple tasks
· Ability to work in a large distributed team

Beneficial Skills:
· Experience in a web/application/domain hosting or cloud services environment
· cPanel experience
· Microsoft systems experience: Exchange, Active Directory, IIS, Hyper-V
· SAN/NAS storage knowledge/experience (ISCSI/NFS/CIFS)
· VMWare ESX/ESXi/vSphere
· Puppet configuration management

• Scripting: PHP, Bash/shell, Perl, other
