Anybody here activated Vista via Phone?

Does anybody of you has activated Vista by Phone?
I have to change mainboard and processor and know Vista want to be reactivated after, by phone.
Whats the number? Did it work by phone?

Well, the numbers are provided in the installation process just like winxp...it's toll free...

i try that toll number before when i change my motherboard and reinstall winxp the 1800 number dont work and all the other number what a ripped off!!!

I'm assuming the 800 numbers are US only. There should be a PH only number to call as well.

Is your copy oem or full product? If it is an oem you will not be allowed to change to a different processor unlike the full product.

I re-activates it already. I calles this 008 number (toll free), and I talked to the customer service. I hade to give hikm just 18 of the 45 numbers and he gave me immediately the new code. Now its genuine again. He only asked if that is still the same computer. I told him yes and that I only had changed the mainboard... He said "No problem" and gave me the new number.
I must say, it worked flawless.

she's right. tried it with 5 of them vista installer. (vaughn: i guess i know you techlady. )

1800 number is good even in ph.

If the given toll free number doesn't work (i experienced this too), you can contact Microsoft Philippines for assistance. You can find there number on their site www.microsoft.com....:)

The toll-free number worked fine for me, at the first try.
