DSL DISCONNECTED

brod gud day...

its been 2months na gyud iam using my DSL 384kbps and until now im not satisfied with the service. I already contacted the 172 hotline 2times but still the same problem occur...kayas

Here is the connection I make.. i use dlink router before but i change to Cnet 8port swicth kay mahal ang router...when i use the dlink router, cge lang gihapon disconnected..nagtry ko sa CNET 8PORT as advise kay ang Zyxel 600 nga gamit sa DSL modem/router na daw..

when i use the cnet switch connected to my two computers, (with different IP address na obtain lang) therefore naka say ko nga ang zyxel router gyud diay( i dont know og sakto bako)..

My questions are..
1. sakto bako nga gigamitan nako og switch? or that switch hinoon causes the disconnection of the internet?
2. how do i know that m using the 384kbs, how can i measure it?
3. my computer is fine...THE DISCONNECTION ERROR is normal its just that GUBAON LANG ang CONNECTION SA DSL
mao ni akng concern, its been two months wala gyud nitabang ang DSL nako always promise magpadala og technician until karn wala gyud..I dont expect form then coz I know istorya net ray makatabang nako..

I think the dsl modem sa pldt is designed and configured for being a dsl modem and naka lock sad iya settings. murag balik jud ka ana gamit sa router kay kung switch ra imong gamit direct connect sa dsl modem ang kato pc nga naka una ug on ra ang maka gamit sa internet, murag one at a time ra ang imo connection sa internet kung switch ra imo gamit... try this http://www.pldtdsl.com/speedtest.asp hope this helps

possibly sad nga modem lang na cya..but if ang duha nako ka computer magdungan og connect,(dsl modem to switch to the 2 computer ang connection)..if you say nga modem na cya...ngano man nga ang duha ka computer lain lain man og IP address...like ang usa ang last digit nya is 89 and the other kay 183?

akng huna huna is modem/router gyud cya...SAKTO KO?
but akng gisulay na go router dlink before, same raman ghapon ang blema server not found, cant display page...
basin sa connection gyud ni sa DSL? kay usahay kusog man cla duha mokonect bisan nagdungan...

tabangi ko bi? akon initial diagnose is PLDT DSL is a modem/router na but ang connection lang nila guba gyud cguro...

ang among connection kay dsl 384kbps, pag test speed nako kay 275.34kbps...sa akng part kay nalipay ko tungod kay nikusog but ok raba na cya? kulang man og 100kbps?

^^ you can never get the 384kbps package that u subscribed to pldt just like a hdd capacity...but they have a different explanation...for hdd the explanation if the binary counting of hdd space while for dsl, it's the minimum - maximum throughput of your connection....ok ra na nga speed bro...don't worry! hehe

how about the dsl model? modem ra gyud to cya alone, or modem router nato cya?
and y is it that lain lain man og ip address ang duha nako ka computer? para nako router na cya..how about you?

akng migo storia possibly daw na modem but still lain lain og ipaddress ang duha ka computer but mag ilogay daw og signal if magdungan mao either of the two mo kalit disconnected..in this case basin sad no, na modem lang ni cya...

balik gamit sa imong router din i dynamic ip adress lang imo mga pc or pwede sad imo i configure as static, dhcp lang ang gamita sa imo router if imo subscription sa pldt is 384kbps dynamic ip adress jud na... as they say di jud magamit ang full bandwidth sa imong gi subscribe... ang zyxel p600 series sa pldt murag gi configure rana sa pldt as dsl modem if modem router man jud gani tingali na, pareha man ta ug modem and speed 200+ raman gani akoa speed pud contento naman ko ani nga speed di man sad ko heavy internet user
