Bond 24 starts shooting in December | Den of Geek
Daniel Craig will be back filming James Bond 007 at the end of the year, as one or two details emerge about the production...
Giving themselves the usual tight turnaround (if not tighter this time, in fact), the team on the next James Bond movie are set to start shooting 007's 24th adventure on December 6th 2014. The new film will then kick off its global run in British cinemas at the end of October 2015.
Sam Mendes is directing again, with Daniel Craig taking on the role of Bond for the fourth time. The main cast are set to gather at Pinewood for a read through of the script at the end of November.
As for the cast, we know that Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris and Rory Kinnear are also returning. Casting continues however, with Bond's foes in this one yet to be put in place. MI6-HQ, which broke the filming date news, reports that "the villain's henchman in Bond 24 is planned to be a classic physically imposing character who has several altercations with Bond throughout the mission".
The new film will shoot mainly at Pinewood, with sequences likely in Austria, Rome and Morocco.
