The activities are indeed benefitting many, but this will all be at the expense of the whale sharks who i believe that when domesticated might not be able to multiply as much when left alone. Ang ako lang, maayo unta ug ma.control lang ang dagsa sa mga gusto mutan.aw para dili lang pud maabusaran ang mga whale sharks.

non-sustainable... sooner or later krill will be overfished, whale sharks will migrate, people will go back to fishing...

this whale watching in oslob should be and must be regulated by the government and NGO's. i've been there last year and the first time i saw it i was amazed but i didn't try to touch it as i know my limits for the whale shark's safetiness sake but other people especially the local ones did touched it despite the fishermen's advised on not to touch it. those people are just VERY SELFISH AND ACT LIKE UNEDUCATED PEOPLE!!! though they have sophisticated scuba gears and equipments but they don't care whats gonna happen and only thinks of their SELF SATISFACTION!!! its just sad to see those creatures whose mouth have wounds already. this should be regulated as soon as possible and should be studied further by the experts on how to balance the human satisfaction and the animals welfare rights.
