i saw the game a while ago.. USA vs. Venezuela...
the team i saw was really TEAM USA... not just "NBA Superstars ... but I saw a "USA TEAM" playing... if you know what i mean/..

If they play continuously as a team, they're nowhere close to these teams. Lig-on ra kaayo ang USA compared to other teams. They've got tremendous athleticism and strength compared to other teams. If they can incorporate it into a team concept, the Olympics is a no contest.Team USA will advance but when olympic comes.. they can't survive against European Teams.

tean USA is composed of young superstars. only kobe 29 & kidd 34 are oldies. We have a future in Team usa for next olympics.

Kobe may not lead the team in scoring but he's doing almost everything for the team. He contributes in scoring, plays defense, attracts the opponents defenses and dishes out to teammates. Kobe is probably giving Carmelo Anthony some respect as Anthony is slowly becoming the face of USA basketball. Kidd's stats on the other hand doesn't speak much about his game but as a part of numerous successful national teams, Kidd will be the team's floor leader and will serve as a "father" figure. His knowledge and experience playing for USA a number of times is a big help for the young players.
It would be exciting to see the USA Team go up against the top European teams like defending champions Italy and powerhouses Lithuania, France and Spain. These teams knows how to play against USA.We have a future in Team usa for next olympics.
If Manu Ginobili played for Argentina in this qualifiers, then it's a lot better match in FIBA America.

It wouldnt matter if Argentina played with no established superstars, they will still be a formidable team because of their experience, team play and solid chemistry..plus dili na sila intimidated by NBA players, they have somehow developed confidence and belief that they can beat Team USA even if it had NBA All-Stars in their lineup
