A New York-based market research company is looking for a professional and skilled agent to help conduct surveys over the phone for B2B and B2C projects spread over US, Brazil, China, France, Germany, UK, and other countries.
Qualifications:
- Experience in conducting surveys over the phone (preferably worked at Opinionology). We need someone who is already knowledgeable in this type of job and will not need much training. We'll still give a quick training on our process, but we don't need someone who has to be taught everything and has no idea what he/she is getting into.
- Confidence in speaking with business managers (and getting to them)
- Fluency in written and oral English
- typing speed of 50+ wpm (to record long answers properly and completely)
- great listening skills (to record long answers properly and completely)
- PROFESSIONAL attitude (this is a home-based position so we want someone who only needs to be given minimal supervision but still works hard)
strong internet connection: need 2-3 MBPS at least
stable internet connection: run pingtest.net (should have fast ping and minimal jitter)
FAQ:
1) Who is the employer?
Sahler Research, in partnership with Citigroup -- Sahler Research
2) How are we paid?
through oDesk -- http://www.odesk.com/
3) But I don't have an oDesk account?
Then create one! You should be able to complete it if you're serious enough.
3) What is the rate?
$4/hr to start. But if you've shown to be capable and efficient, it will be $5/hr. We also have midyear and end of year performance-based bonuses. If you think you're worth more than that, show us excellent results and it can definitely be renegotiated.
4) What are the accounts?
We're only going to discuss that to the hired applicant because of confidentiality. Suffice it to say, it's usually B2B.

Final note:
We only want THE BEST. We're still a small team even though a lot of agents have joined us over the years, because we have no problems letting go of poor performers.
